Emerging Research Leaders Programme
Led by Dr Emilka Skrzypek
The Emerging Research Leaders Programme is a skills development programme for early career researchers (ECRs). Built around annual training workshops, the programme aims to support ECRs in developing skills that will increase the impact of their work and enable them to become future research leaders. The programme also offers opportunities for networking, knowledge exchange, and collaborative dialogue on one of Scotland’s most pressing issues: forging pathways towards an equitable and sustainable net zero future.
The Programme is open to early career researchers of all disciplines affiliated with Scottish Higher Education institutions, whose research work is aligned with the aims of the Scottish Research Alliance for Energy, Homes, and Livelihoods. We define early career as a PhD student, a person who completed their PhD less than seven years ago, or a PhD holder yet to secure first permanent job appointment (with no time limit since completion of the PhD).
The Emerging Research Leaders Programme is fully funded by the Scottish Research Alliance for Energy, Homes and Livelihoods, making it free of charge for all participants!
